ETC Accreditations and Memberships

ETC International College is accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK.  The College is also a member of the IEF (International Education Forum) and RALSA (Regional Accredited Language Schools' Association).

British Council / Accreditation UK publishable statement from ETC's most recent inspection report (2011):
The British Council inspected and accredited ETC International College in June 2011.  The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected (see www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation for details).  This large private language school offers courses in general and professional English for adults and vacation courses for under-16s and young adults aged 16-17).  Points of excellence were noted in aspects of general management, academic management and the leisure programme.  The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme.

RALSA (the Regional Accredited Language Schools' Association).
RALSA has existed for more than 25 years and was established on the fundamental principle of promoting Bournemouth as a centre of educational excellence.  The primary objective of all RALSA schools is to offer quality English language tuition to international students in safe, secure and professionally-accredited institutes.  The Association operates as a committee and provides a forum for members to discuss matters of educational and professional interest.  www.ralsa.org.uk

IEF (the International Education Forum)
England is renowned for its internationally recognised qualifications and the expertise of its teaching staff. It is against this background that the International Education Forum was established to promote the Bournemouth and Poole area as a world-class centre for excellence in international education. The Forum is a unique partnership between the public and private sectors. It is made up of local education providers with strong and proven track records in their individual fields. The Boroughs of Bournemouth and Poole are also actively involved through their Tourism Offices. At a local level, the Forum has taken up the challenge of the Prime Minister's initiative to promote UK education to a world-wide audience.  The educational organisations involved in this innovative project are Bournemouth University, The Arts University College at Bournemouth, the Bournemouth and Poole College, Accredited English Language Schools, and White House Guardianships (which offers a placement service into local private and state-run high schools).  This co-operation between such a wide range of partners aims to ensure that international students receive maximum benefit from their stay in Bournemouth and Poole.  www.studybournemouthpoole.co.uk
