Gladys Bernada Yanez Correa is involved in Marketing and Social Activities at ETC and is a well-known face around the school, she is always happy to point you in the right direction if needs be.

But what is she really like?.. Read on to find out.

What’s your greatest fear? What really gives you the creeps?

“I’m not really sure actually, I mean snakes, spiders, oh wait a minute, being stuck in a really confined space and not being able to move, like being buried alive. Yes, that’s it, being buried alive that would be terrible.”

O.k, so being in a confined space…. What about if you were trapped in a lift, who would you want to be trapped in it with?

“Like I said I don’t like being in confined spaces so I guess that if I was stuck in a lift I’d want to be with a lift engineer so that he could get me out quickly!”

So that’s somewhere that you wouldn’t want to spend time, what about your favourite places, where are they?

“There’s a little town in Italy between Pisa and Tuscany called Viareggio, it’s by the sea, and is so peaceful… I’d much rather be there than stuck in a lift.”

Quick question: Who do you most admire in history?

The Dalai Lama and Nelson Mandela, I’d love to think that I could incorporate their philosophies into my life.

And finally, what would you take with you on a desert island?

“A picture of my family, a book by Deepak Chopra and my lipstick.”
