General English Courses

General English courses at ETC each follow a syllabus which is primarily designed to develop the four skills of speaking, writing, reading and listening, and to increase your awareness of how English works.

You will also learn and revise new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and polish your English grammar!

The teachers at ETC will do their best to provide you with a range of situations in which you can practise your English language skills and develop functional ability and fluency.  You will find that they are suppportive guides in the learning process.

General English courses are available at 6 levels from Beginner to Advanced and can be studied in various ways:

• Standard course - 20 lessons per week (= 15 hours per week).
• Intensive course - 28 lessons per week (= 21 hours per week).
• Super-Intensive course - 36 lessons per week (= 27 hours per week).
• 1:1 course - individualised tuition involving one teacher and one student.
